Great meeting a few of you guys today. Would have stayed and chatted longer if I hadn't come in with a group.

Anyone get any good pictures? I didn't have my gear with me. Would love to see a shot of the two YMBs sandwiching my car and the gray one.

I took a bunch of pictures, I think a sandwich is in there. I'm going to sort them out and post them online. I'll let you know when they're available. I can make the RAWs available too if you want.

I did get the 1200 mile service done. I'm set there. I do like to build a relationship with my shop though so if you or someone you know is good on M3s let me know.

Just wanted to introduce myself. My M3 is on track for ED in early June. I met a few of you at cars and coffee last week. This will be my first M but 4th BMW. I currently have an E90 328i

I just decided to do ED last week so I need to get to planning. I have to go alone because of kids and school. If I can hit a few of the auto museums and the Nurburgring I will be happy.

Note: I plan to rent a car for the ring

If you do rent a car make sure it's from one the ring rental places who knows where the car is going to be used.

I was fortunate enough that when I did an ED with my buddy last summer that getting on the ring was the #1 goal. We put on pointless miles just to get the first oil change and shot straight up there. How many other opportunities will you get to have YOUR car at the ring? I'm just saying. And honestly you don't even have to go out there and flog it hard if you don't want to.

Out of curiosity, did any of you Raleigh guys get a 6MT? I'm thinking about reverting back from DCT but wanted to see how it behaved with the auto blipping and all of that.

a guy came to CnC two or three months ago and had ordered an AY for ED. he still had to travel so I'm not sure when it'll be here. he's the only one I know. my best suggestion would be check leith/performance or show up at CnC. there's usually a good F8x turnout. saw my first SO in person there.
