I have 6NS and have only ever been able to receive text messages. Can't send texts and can't send or receive e-mail. For some reason, iPhone 5s is either not supported or is difficult to configure. It all worked fine with Blackberry Q10. Not really a problem as I just use Siri but annoying. Anyway, I would check on your phone's compatibility before coding this.

Too late, just coded it the office menu shows up now, you have to enable notifications in the iPhone Bluetooth menu entry for the BMW but haven't tested it yet. Email integration is apparently bad w iPhone, you have to kill the mail app every time the car starts up or something like that...
