Hello Guys
My name is Will and im new to the BMW World

Picking up my F80 M3 on Thursday and couldnt be more excited!!

Trying to leave it as stock as possible but keep looking posts of downpipes and jb4 tunes lol, not sure how much time i will resist!

Welcome to the club! Good color combination. Did you seek out a car with the Ceramic Brakes or just one you happened upon on a lot? Do you plan to track the car? So what have you owned before?

Didnt even know it was ceramic brakes lol till salesman told me. Lol

I dont plan on doing track at all, pretty much want it as a weekend car.

I had turbo FRS, 15 STi and recently sold my Evo 9 to buy this, so its a huge upgrade in my opinion

Yes, nice upgrade for sure. The ceramics are really nice on the track, mixed reviews for daily driving. Definitely need to be warmed up a bit before they feel right.

I don't track mine, but I have done several BMW events....highly recommend you do two things:
Join BMW Car Club of America (CCA)
Use BMW CCA discount and book a 1 Day "M" School.

The BMW CCA will clue you into lots of events in your local area. The "M" school is a blast and a bargain at $1500ish; you will have a completely new appreciation for the car. They also offer a 2-day, but I think every time you get out, you improve your skills, so do the one day first and then think about dropping the nearly $4k on the 2 day which includes hotel/meals and builds on the first day skills.

Congrats and thanks for continuing to help save the manual transmission! I see they have the new m performance shift knob installed. Curious what you think of it. Mix reviews here based solely on looks. Some (myself included) think it looks a bit like robocops dong.

I am mildly shocked that this comment didnt lead to a piggy back vs. flash tune debate....maybe the west coast tuners havent turned on their computers yet.

Hologram on windshield its soo dope!
The M lettering on seats even go on, kinda corny but its cool lol

too much to list line by line. just search "zcp or no" in the forum and spend the next 3 hours reading

note - not claiming you should have gotten it, but just funny how the salesman said it has every oem package but missed one of the biggest
