Pennies on the dollar regarding resale value. That goes for all packages not just ZCP. |

Forget about all systems off on the track. Take each car stock to a wet twisty street road. Put it in mdm mode. The competition pack is much better to drive. |

Did you drive a fully updated base car, then the ZCP? Or did you drive a base 15 M3 with original software full of bugs and flaws, then drive the ZCP? I have a very early build 15 model that up until last month had a software version from 6/15. I just updated the car with the latest software update from BMW, and then had the car coded with GTS everything (could have also been ZCP files). I can promise you the car is completely transformed with nothing but software changes. It is planted, dead spot in steering gone, puts power down night/day over the original software. I'd bet money my car with 295 tires, fully up to date software and coded with GTS diff, steering, EDC, ABS, TCS will not really feel any different than a ZCP does. Most of the changes to the ZCP are software updates that anyone can easily code for free, or a few hundred bucks. The new dampers, springs and associated hardware changes do make a difference, no doubt, but not as much as the tuning involved to make the systems work better together. Truth is BMW fucked up the original software for the various control systems of the car. The traction control / MDM tuning was a mess, the steering had a dead spot, the engine tune itself spiked torque way early, hell even the active sound in the new software updates (including the ZCP also sound way different). Case in point, look at the difference in torque and power delivery between the original tune, the ZCP and so on... I mean just look at how an OEM engine tune completely changed the torque curve alone, its like a different car. http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showth...ghlight=evolve The youtube reviewers lack context to tell the whole story. They reviewed the base car, noticed it had some flaws and it got bad press. Then they tested the comp pack and it was way better. But they never re-tested a 17 or 18 "base" M3 to see if the base car got better. It's always just left as, "well the comp pack" is where its at. That's what I mean.
