that said, on the e9x m3 it can be horrific as well. youtube vids of the OEM exhaust mod with no cats for example.

Sounds dreadful.

I'm sure an aftermarket exhaust will help… but I'm afraid it will merely go from horrid to ok.

Sounds like a BMW straight 6 again with lots of e46 rasp and metallic sounding. I've never been a v8 fan in American muscle or European cars so I'm happy about this sound. I know I'm not like most. Not that that the s65 didn't sound great. But for my own taste ill take a straight 6's note over a v8s any day. Other than a Ferrari maybe. This makes me excited to pick up mine and hear it in person.

Thanks but I'll stick with my S65 sound. I'll wait till the first generation kinks are all worked out before I'd even consider this car. Sound aside, I need a "No limp mode" car

Was notified that the exhaust was not a production exhaust and was a false representation of the actual production exhaust.

Out of respect and not to mislead you guys I decided to take it down. I work for the company and respect the brand and our Rep who had the car.

I don't think the pictures do it justice.
The pictures don't show the aggressiveness that people are describing.
Hope I see one soon.
Otherwise, the pics/videos just make me content with the e92 for now.

They just updated the F30 front end and put in a new engine, perhaps in a few years the M will get an update too.
