Seems like the ship is coming in tomorrow, still going to Halifax for now. I sincerely hope they don't skip Halifax and go to NY right away.

Snowing in the wrong place!! I just spent 4 days watching snow melt on vacation at Blue Mountain, ON

Does anyone know the timeline to get from Baltimore to Canada? My car was on the Figaro and it got rerouted to Baltimore and according to the tracking site it was discharged there.

yeah it's still waiting in line I think... I sure hope they take care of my car... Me not happy. I don't mind the wait that much, but I hate thinking my new M, which I didn't want to drive in winter, is shelved under snow and ice for the next 2-3 weeks.

I mean, common we live in CANADA, land of ice and snow. You'd think they'd be better equipped to deal with the situation. Unacceptable.

Well, bad news for those waiting. The entire city of Halifax is shut down. I mean EVERYTHING.

We just had the biggest dump of snow I have seen this year and that is saying something. It took me 3 hours to snow blow my driveway. Normally it is 30 minutes at most. I have never seen snow like we have this winter before (thanks climate change) but it really isn't helping folks waiting for their cars.

The snow around my walkway is taller than I am... I'm 5'10".

More good news... more snow coming this weekend.

The Autoport has thousands of cars and they are packed in there like sardines. Having said that, they do their best to take good care of the cars and they are all wrapped in plastic and such anyway. I think they do the best they can but this winter has been really, really unusual for us. I don't ever remember seeing this much snow and ice. Last year I was driving my C7 Stingray on summer tires the last week of March with not a drop of snow/ice on the street. This year it will be June before my winter tires come off my M.

Thanks for the update. I'm feeling a bit better that my vessel got rerouted to the U.S instead of Halifax.

here is the last Update on Tosca. Seems it stopped two times in halifax, but now I see on its second stop it's right next to the train track... does this mean they are putting the latest arrivals first on the trains until they can safely get to the iced ones? I have no idea... but hey at least they seem to be doing something

^--- this is where all of the boats coming into the Autoport dock and unload cars. If the boat docked anywhere else in Halifax it would not be to drop off cars... this dock is the only one for that purpose.

The train tracks are in the middle of the ports auto holding area. The entire area (from Howard to Macnab and to the water) is a huge parking lot
