Quick tire question - will it fit?

Will 27535R20 fit on the front of a 2017 M4 Comp? Without rubbing?

Stock or aftermarket wheels? Are you using spacers? Is your car lowered?

If it’s a stock front wheel then a 275 is too wide for a 9” wide wheel. Yes they’ll fit but you won’t get the full benefit of a wider tire on a narrower wheel.

a 275/35/20 tire is WAY too large of a diameter for the front of an F82, and you are guaranteed to rub. That tire is 27.6 inches in diameter!

Ideally, you need to stay with a diameter of 26.3 inches or LESS. A 265/30/20 is really the biggest (@ 26.3") that you want to go. Depending on how much you are lowered and what the front wheel's final offset is, you might even rub at 26.3" in diameter.

Thanks for the input. Was asking since I had a decent deal to buy a set.

Will stick with the 265’s.

But will be replacing the fronts with 2653520’s. Need 35s due the the terrible roads in PA/NJ and bending a rim. The 30’s are way too shallow.

I should have no issues with them correct? Slightly higher.

Never tried with 20s, but 275/35/19 rubbed slightly in the front around full lock on my F80, but 265/35/19 was fine!

265/35 is still too large of a diameter for a 20” wheel. This will impact your DSC, MDM, ABS, wheel speeds, etc. if the correct size 20” tire doesn’t have a tall enough sidewall, sell your 20” wheels, and order a set of 19”, or even better a set of 18”, wheels. Don’t use improper sidewall height to slightly adjust ride comfort.

I put 28535R20 tires on the rear. Never gave it a second thought. No problems that I can see with them on the rear.??

If you feel you really need the taller sidewall, perhaps you should consider moving to a 19 inch wheel instead of the 20's.

Sounds like you are gonna be replacing tires and 19's are usually less expensive than 20's and can help offset the cost of additional wheels.

Richland Forged make a 19” F and 20” R forged replica 666M wheels that are 1/2” wider F 19x9.5et23 and 1” wider R 19x11et44 (I think, may be slightly more aggressive or F and R can use their DSPEC aggressive offsets).
