M3/M4 selling strongly in Canada based on my observation - how about you?

I haven't seen any official numbers - I doubt BMW would release them - but here's what I have noticed, informally:

In my immediate neighbourhood, M3s & M4s: at least six.
328, 335 & 340: about one of each.
428: one stupid four-door
435: one
440: none.

Looks to me like the F-series M cars are a runaway success for BMW!

Interesting neighborhood.

Here in Los Angeles, a day on my commute I see roughly 50 F30/2 3 and 4 series, and maybe 1 or 2 M3/4s but usually M4s.

In my neighborhood there is roughly 20 or so F30/2 3 and 4 series and only 1 M3 with my wife's coming now soon.

Same here in the bay area. However, I'm lucky if I see 1 M car a week.

That's the most revealing info I've seen so far. I do know that when I bought my F80 in 2015 I had to special order it. I spent every other day searching the dealers within a few hundred miles inventory looking for a match. I came across a few F82's that matched. From what I saw either the coupe is made in higher numbers or there is more demand for the sedan. On the road I do see more coupes though.

I'm in LA (Pasadena, San Marino, Alhambra) area and I feel like every person here has atleast one BMW in their garage. I still break my neck everytime I see an M3, M4, M5 or M6 though. Just love the M lineup.

I am in central GTA and have not seen another M3 for several months. Mainly see m4 every other day. M3's to me appear rare (I like it that way!)

Consider this news article:

Excerpt:
According to ICBC, there are more than 2,000 vehicles registered in Metro Vancouver with a price tag of more than $150,000.

“There’s just so many Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens, Rolls-Royces, Bentleys on the street that you see, so you become instantly aware that there seems to be more than anywhere else,” Craig Stowe, president of Luxury & Supercar Weekend, said.

Just how many people in Metro Vancouver are getting behind the wheel of a supercar?

In West Vancouver, one in every 142 people owns a luxury vehicle. In Richmond, it’s one in 577 while in Vancouver it’s one in 615.
Which means those people will need a car condo - (you read that right) a condo, for your car.

I'll give you the civic head nod the next time i spot you around town.

It's a great car and the Global economy has been relatively strong last three years, so it makes sense that they are selling a boat load of them.

I see more 'M' rebadged cars than actual M's. That's pretty sad.

I see a ton, there's 3 other F8x cars in my building (my own excluded), a 458, 991 Targa GTS, SL63, S63, RS7, and a DB9... the list goes on. Downtown Vancouver for what it's worth.
