Yeah I heard about that. Awhile back I posted that BMW was streamlining (aka cutting back) their expenses on these trips and doubted whether they'd offer them anymore. Then I found out about the 4 trips this year...so I took my comments back. But now...i'm restating my "cutbacks" comment lol. 8k and 10k up front is about 8k and 10k more than our '15 Euro Tour cost lol. Still...it's a blast for anyone able to take advantage of it.

I heard there will be no track this year. M3 will be the only car affected. The 2018 M4 production started already

Salzburgring was removed for whatever reason. The hope is that BMW Canada replaces it with an equally engaging track experience

I am looking into doing the September tour.

Whats everyone's experience with this tour? is it worth the money or would you prefer to just do the ED? I am not even sure how much it is but it sounds pricey.

It's about $8k CAD excluding flights. In terms of whether it's worth it, that's for you to decide.

The $8k includes all meals and lodging and from what I've seen the meals look fantastic and the hotels are quite luxurious. Though it's a little steep for only a week ($1k per day).

On the other hand, you can do your own ED, go at your own pace, stay where you wanna stay, eat what you wanna eat on your own schedule. Downside: you'll have to do a little bit of planning.

Thanks for the feedback. I think i will pass at that price. I rather get a set of carbon ceramics for that money. Looking forward to doing the ED though.

I was initially bummed that I wasn't able to do this as my ED was already scheduled by the time this came out a while back. However, I'm happy that I didn't push out my ED because I had an incredible time exploring Germany/Switzerland on my own. If I did the tour I wouldn't have experienced the Nürburgring, Porsche factory tour, BMW M Studio/HQ, etc.
