275/40/18 and 295/40/18 Track Tires?
Thinking about running the Hankook RS4s in these sizes for the track. Concerns will be if they will fit. Planning on running Apex wheels or OEM 513m Wheels. Stock suspension.
Would my concern be the front tires hitting the strut?

I cannot answer specifically about the Hankook, but I can confirm that Michelin Pilot Sports in 275/35/18 and 295/35/18 will work without rubbing anywhere when mounted on the stock 18" wheels. Hopefully someone can confirm 100% regarding the RS4s but if not, you might be able to find out if there is any actual width difference between the two tire types.
Good luck. |

Looking to get new tires on my 18 in stock rims and instead of replacing them with 255/40R18's in the front, and 275/40R18's in the back going with 275/35R18's in the front and 295/35R18's in the back.
Will this setup work without rub and do you think the 5% sacrifice on the sidewall is that much of a difference? |

That setup will work for sure, though I'd recommend the 265/40/18 F and 295/40/18 R instead which also won't rub and will keep your stock diameter. |
