Satellite radio volume way higher than all other sources

Dealer says this is "normal operation". I am comparing to radio, apple car play, CD. When I switch modes to Satellite, I have to lower the volume real quick. Yes I've checked speed sensitive settings. I can't find other mode specific settings. can anyone help?

I have noticed that usb or Bluetooth is not as loud as satellite radio but I can't confirm FM/AM radio or CDs because I never listened to those in this car.

I have noticed this, discussed it a couple of times on the forum. I was always told that's just the way it is. Can't find any workaround. My phone volume is maxed out. I just decided to live with it and turn it up when using BT Audio, etc. Just remember to turn it back down before switching back to Sirius!

Interesting no one is making a bigger deal of this. I called it into BMW Customer Service and they said they will escalate

Older BMW's used to have an AUX input adjustment....I bet there is something in the coding of the F series that allows adjustment, just don't know where.

Yep, I noticed the same thing. When switching from BT to satellite radio I'm unpleasantly reminded of this problem.

For me sat is not so bad, but DVD (coded) is very quiet compared to the other sources
