New M3 CP owner

Hi All,

Just wanted to say hi and share with you my new motor.

I have traded in a 2017 335d which to be honest I only bought last year but had to take advantage of the great deals that are currently on offer with the M3/M4.

Car is as follows:

M3 Competition Package
Sapphire black
Extended black merino leather
Heated steering wheel
DCT transmission
Sun protection glass
Carbon fibre interior trim
High beam assist
M Head up display
Harmon Kardon
Speed limit display.

The car is an absolute animal. I cant believe the difference in how the car looks and drives compared to the 335d. Don't get me wrong the 335 is a very quick and capable car but this is on another level and the sense of occasion is awesome.

The only thing I am tempted to do is the exterior carbon package, but that will have to wait a while I think.

You only got a good deal because they put the steering wheel on the wrong side.

Given the chance I would have definitely had them but the car was built and they were offering a great deal on a few cars that were bought and paid out before March which had secured them at a lower price before an increase in costs across the M range apparently.

I had the Icon adaptive lights on the 335d and they were great. Equal if not better to the Matrix LEDs I had on my previous Audi A7.

Not had chance to test the standard LED headlights out yet as I haven't driven it in the dark. I cant imagine they are anywhere near as good as the Icon adaptive but hey ho, there's always a compromise somewhere.
