2018 F80 Order process has begun!

So I just got back from the dealership and started the order process for my 2018 M3. This is something I have been looking forward to since I moved to Germany 2 1/2 years ago. I'll update as the process moves forward. Here are the specs:

Sakhir Orange II
Executive Package (Black Full Merino)
Competition Package (Black 666M Rims)
Driving Assistance Package
DCT

I checked with my salesman this weekend and the car is currently at status 111 with a production date of 27/07/2018.

Because of the Demo Program...I won't get the car until December. However, it should be at the dealer by end of July or first of August.

Congrats! As someone else said, yours is the latest build that we know of, for an '18 M3.

From my order date (when bmw accepted it from Euler) until it was delivered at the dealer was about 4 weeks for my 18 M3. They were shocked it came in so fast. Hopefully that happens to you, so the demo period starts sooner.

That would be great. I have to say that Euler was by far the easiest car dealership I have ever dealt with.

I had heard that production was no more for Germany and the M3 is not even on the Germain website anymore in terms of build your own.

So July production seems...well...not looking good. Would be interesting if they built it sooner and then held for you till December. That would be cool.

Two-to-three weeks ago my UK dealer weren't able to order a new build. Production is due to cease soon, and no new build slots were available. I ordered an already built car from storage. When that car got damaged, BMW offered to squeeze another car into the production schedule before M3 production comes to a close.

I consider myself very lucky to be offered this and am a very impressed new BMW customer.

This is through BMW NA and not BMW GmBH, that is how I was able to order it. I will ask my salesmen again to check on the build date for me...I was just going off of what he pulled from BMW's site.

Stopped by the dealership today to show my girls (4 and 7) what the M3 will look like when it gets here and my salesmen say's let's see where it is in the build process. Looked it up and it is sitting in Frankfurt!!! He said it should be here by the middle of next week! Can't wait...
