2018 BMW Driving Experience Dates- Nürburgring Nordschleife

For all that are planning a ED or just wants to experience the Nürburgring Nordschleife, BMW M has released dates for 2018. New this year is a program for the M5 (F90).

Any questions, you can post or PM me as I have taken these programs in the past. This is the same program that M Gruppe and US Performance Center organizes, but I have planned one my own.

Additional EU tracks will be released shortly.

If it's a M5 specified program, then yes. The M5 programs are priced higher than the M4 & M2 programs. These programs are different than the US PC track programs (M School & Advanced M School) which use various M models for training.

That is correct, but BMW NA uses the BMW Driving Experience logistics, instructors and vehicles (approx 600 BMW's including M's are stored in Garching, DE). It's the same program, but going with the organized group from the USA costs more money due to US mark-up to make a profit. Might as well purchase M training directly from the BMW Driving Experience. Personally, I have meet great Europeans, including BMW M engineers and a current M Vice President during my 3 German trainings to date, as it's cool to be the 'only' American in the group.

Update:

As of 25/02/2018 only the M5 programs are available for the BMW M Fascination Nordschleife.

Disappointed that Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps isn't offered, but hopefully more international tracks are released.

Supposedly more events will be released in the future, including other EU tracks. Otherwise, I'm leaning towards the M5 program at the Ring late September 2018.

kami3... I booked the M5 BMW M Fascination Nordschleife for late September. The M4 GT4 was intriguing for Mugello scheduled for middle November, but only offered in German. Long trip for you to Germany, as its a short flight from the US east coast to the Ring. It will keep my skills sharp from my next ED in 2020.

I'll be at the Ring in the beginning of August.

I know there'll be BMW M Race Track GT Training with M4 GT4 at Red Bull Ring / Sachsenring / Mugello this year. I hope to be a part of it next year if the same training program will come up.

Yes, Video-VBOX will record your driving like the following vid. M GmbH will give you a USB drive for it. 32GB is enough to record all of the training (section training and full laps) for 2 days.

The Garmin VIRB 360 paired with a Vgate iCar2 ELM327 Bluetooth will pair with the VIRB for G-Metrix data. Video/sound/data appear better that the BMW VBOX. I have the Vgate WiFi iCar2, but not sure if it supports Bluetooth. There are some impression VIR videos on YouTube of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.

Going to pass on the English M4 GT4 with 3 vacations to Europe over the next 4 months and planning a Snow & Ice training when the schedule is announced in September for Winter 2019.
