Same here, I have a week 40 build. Hoping it still makes the cut off for the CF drive shaft. If I understand all that has been said here, as long as the car finishes production before November, it should still have the CF driveshaft.

Even if the build starts on the last day of October 31st you will get the CF. You just cant start a build and on the 1st of November say switch to steel drive shafts.

Then no. It is not an "option" so will not show up on a VIR, just like your intercooler doesn't.

I recently purchased an M3 Competition in Frozen White, orange sakhir stitching.

This is a car i've dreamt about all my adult life and FINALLY i put down an order...

then i find out my car will not be delivered as ordered or as advertised.

Now i'm looking at other options. Of all people the fact that i'm looking at other cars speaks volumes about the value of a deal being a deal. Seriously how dare they change a car from what's CURRENTLY being advertised in a purchase where more than $150,000 is changing hands.

Irrespective of any actual or imaginary performance difference. Shame on you BMW.

Gee that AMG c63s is looking good. I'm test driving one today.

Are you implying that because your car may not have the CF driveshaft you are going to walk away even though it's your supposed dream car? If so then I think you need your head checked...

Yeah they are unfortunately... confirmed by the dealer and BMW Australia. They are looking into it for me and doing the best they can.

This will be a daily drive for me and the M3 wins hands down due to infotainment system for how I use a daily drive.

That c63s sounds incredible and had better adaptive / lane keeping etc but it just feels like I’d be cheating.

Hopefully the can help me out. They are definitely trying!! To their credit.
