No you can, you just pay the difference $1550 - $849 = $701.

Problem is I can almost buy 3 track days with the difference.. not worth it for me.

Can I upgrade to the 2 day M school with this?

Also is there a time expiration on scheduling? I probably can't go this year.

Definitely going Porsche when the lease is up.

Yes, you can upgrade to any school...1-day or 2-day. They just apply the $850 credit to it.

For time expiration, you have to schedule your school prior to the 1yr anniversary of the day you took delivery of your car. Just schedule, not attend before 1yr.

Yes, but that's not really a fair comparison.
You get to use their M cars, tires, gas, insurance and you get professional instructors (no offense to track day instructors).
Also, I really liked their skidpad exercise something that is difficult to replicate elsewhere.

If you're a newbie.. sure it's probably a good way to start instruction with an M car.

I'm just irritated that BMW knows I have an M car, but yet they send me the intro class and try to upsell me on the M class.. so kind of weasel move.

I received the USB only, no free class (or hotel accommodations).

Financing is with BMWFS.

Yeah because Porsche just hands things away for free or deep discounts. You should.

I've bought/leased 6 BMWs, two of them M cars and my wife currently drives a 428 GC all financed through BMWFS. I never received one of these vouchers/invitations and yah, I admit I'm a little bitter about it.

I've done the one day M school (Spartanburg) and I'd do it again. It is more than just track time, it is about the whole experience. The instructors and employees really make it a first class operation. Plus you get to drive a few different cars and beat the shit out of them, which is better than your own car.

It is odd to me that BMW as whole has better customer service than other brands, especially Ford. But, Ford does this right and I wish BMW did it this way. If you buy any Ford Performance car you get a free track day in that type of car at Utah Motorsports Complex (formerly Miller). You have to use it a year from when your car was delivered. It doesn't matter if you've bought one or hundred it is the same for everybody.

I find it really, really amusing that people within this thread complain about something they are receiving FOR FREE. Sounds like something a millennial would do.

Anyone been able to stack the credit and BMW CCA discount for 2 day advance M School? I'll have to make sure my center, as I deal with the sales manager, has my account flagged as I have 2 M's on order (F83ZCP & F85), both financed by BMWFS. Wonder if I'll get 2 invites.

You should be able to get the CCA discount on an advanced M School now. When they had them at tracks like VIR and Road Atlanta, they wouldn't allow the discount. All advanced M Schools will be at Thermal. YMMV.

You can definitely stack a discount (like CCA) with any other M School and use a credit to lower the cost to you.

And you'll probably get 2 invites as well with the 2 Ms.

I have not heard of anyone getting a free track day. Everyone I know in the M club that went this week paid $250 whether they had a ZCP or not (and I'm talking about at least 25 people).

The special offer was the opportunity to buy a slot and attend the event. What you get has to be worth more than $250 it was definitely a good bang for you buck deal.
I got one for my f80 FY15 and my wife's M235I one year later.

You got a free track day? You sure it wasn't a free performance driving school day? They are different. For instance, I received a free PDS day and hotel accommodations at either the Spartanburg or Thermal locations. The value of this is at least $850. The track day is at certain tracks scattered in various locations which people pay $250 for.
