I saw what I thought was a Java Green F82 over the summer but it was a wrap.


And yes I'm sure we will see a few Ultimate Package colours floating around now that they are a bit easier to obtain with this package. Nice to see the palette expanded! Can't wait to see more as they arrive!!!

We saw it today. Nice to see some variety out there but I suspect that the right buyer is needed for this one as it is a 6MT and winter is right around the corner

It sounds like the Ultimate Package cars are starting to show up. Hopefully we get to see some more variety next year - bring on the skittles!

quickly signed up just to let you guys know I spotted an alpine white GTS in Red Deer yesterday.

yes, red deer. I was quite shocked as well. Did a quick google after and found it had been listed on autotrader for 250k but the ad had been marked sold/taken down already.

anyways, fyi.

Lucky guy! Nice to see one out in the wild!

I did a cursory AutoTrader check as well and it is still up with 6,000 km but now at $210,000.... looks like at least it has been driven a bit!

There are 4 others as well $173,000 - $219,900 - not badly priced I suppose!

Here's the Java. They had some sales events last week so maybe that's why the ropes? The frozen black M5 also in the showroom didn't have ropes and the sticker was a bit more than this one...

I'm not surprised by the amount they are priced at. Or the amount of inventory listed for sale. It's always interesting to watch the car market for things such as these.

It's just nice when cars such as these wind up in the hands of people who can enjoy them. Whatever that looks like - be it on the track, street, garage queen, etc.

Yeah, agreed I'm all for the enthusiast owner too.

My point before (maybe not expressed well) was that $210k for a car with 6,000 kms is waaaay overpriced. Not as insane as the original $250 but....look, you can get the exact same car with basically 0 km from kulu for $30k less. That is like 15% less.

Beyond that, I'm not yet convinced the M4 GTS is a car that is going to hold or appreciate in value. 700 units suggests some rarity....but, as a brand, an M isn't going to hold or appreciate in value like a Ferrari Speciale or even a Cayman GTS.

Plus, unless it is something truly special like a La Ferrari, that appreciation won't come around for a little while....

AND if you want to try to get Ferrari like appreciation you need to put Ferrari kms on it over those years you are waiting for the price to come back up (eg: limit it to 600 a year or less).

Red Deer guy put 10 years worth of driving on the car in 3 months and is then looking to cash out big right away.

....and his love of/driving the car lots is great - and what I would do as well BUT you can't do that and then ask for an instant/appreciated value on the car.

Put another way, if a 'new' one is going for $175-180k, Red Deer's is going to be like $150k, tops. (not taking into account the fact he is just a private guy selling it, which means there is some further discounting to him)

Just joined the club guys. Got rid of my E70 X5M (Monte Carlo Blue). Had a E92 M3 (1 of 1 - Brass Metallic Paintworks) that I got rid of in June and kept missing it since then and didn't quite take to the SUV life. Decided to go back.



PS: If someone can recommend local 3M/tint shops that have decent pricing in Edmonton, please suggest. Don't want to spend dealer money.
