BMW M4 Akrapovic Exhaust System [VIDEO/PHOTO]

Sounds great, but I'm not a fan of the way those tips looks.

For me, it's purely and stupidly brand loyalty. My priorities are (on an exhaust) BMW OEM, Akra, the rest. I just feel like a car of that level doesn't deserve anything short of the best, and certainly not a Megan at under $1k.

As I said before, I won't be modifying anything for a long while.

The point is any videos will really never do the sound justice. I really could not tell how much better that sounded compared to stock....simply because the stock sound I heard in videos sounded like shit, and in person it sounded amazing.

Well that's where I'm getting at, any video is less than ideal. But if I had to pick one, I'd want standing revs over drive by's or in cabin..

Just my opinion though.

Weird how the N54/N55 with exhausts have a sweet crackle on overrun, but the S55 doesn't have it whatsoever.

I haven't seen the system but my guess is down pipes will get you better performance and where I would put my money. I would also remove the secondary cats (like people did on the 1M) to gain a little better flow and sound. This is just the beginning....
