It seems like it's gonna be for ever till the time gets here, all this drama of looking at what we think the potential car is gonna look like.
With that i have been searching youtube and found a video, not sure how to transfer it on to here but i'm hoping some one can help me.
go to youtube and type: ( 2014 BMW M4 photo's leaked)
It looks like an alpine white wich is exactly what i'm planning on. It looks like the real thing. Please help with the video.

It will be smaller than the 6 series.

JASON: where will we get to see the Renders!? Please make it quick... i really thought this would be the look of it ... Very nice!
facepalm.jpg

I am not expecting it to be bigger than the 6 series. I want it a lot smaller than the current 6 series. That render makes it seem as if it's only slightly smaller, which is not what I want. The E92 M3 and the last gen M6 were significantly different in terms of size and the amount of space they take up on the road. If this upcoming M4 is only a tad bit smaller, then I won't be buying one.

I like the way the 6 series looks, but it's just so big and bulky! I saw a few new ones around the highway and they just look so massive. I want the new 4 series/M4 to be smaller, it'll inevitably keep the weight low and what not.

I understand that most here want performance first ie less size, less weight and more power. I agree w this for 1-4 series.

Now with the 5 and 6 - they are properly boss. If you are gonna throw cash at a car you want status. I like how they are. The x63 engines are boss minus oil pump problems.

If they could bring down the proportions of the F82 and had the V8 I would sold.
This car will still be sick nonetheless. I'll take mine in Laguna Seca blue.

To be honest that car looks F****** sick!! I love how sleek the hood vent looks and really actually like the front fenders. ALOT! There not there for looks for sure as BMW engineering goes way in depth about heat extraction, ventilation, and aerodynamics. The front fenders could be there to also vent heat from the (all ready known to be hot since its confirmed the base of it is going to be a N55 motor from what I have read.) But BMW calling this a 4 series is just so UN-BMW like in ALL ways. They have been known for the most famous 3 series (most sold bmw's usually every year...Correct me if im wrong) which is there bread and butter... Now throwing a 4 on the back, maybe taking away the butter, if ya know what I mean lol. I dont know why we as consumers have to pay a ADDITIONAL PREMIUM just to have a 2 door 3 series....But by the way that car looks.... man it would be tough to say "yes I WILL pay a premium for this work of art" and probably a beast of a machine... I'm counting days now till my M5 comes in for my all around car and was planning on making my E92 a full on track car ect... but after looking at this, I'm having second thoughts

Let's calm it down there sir.
Some of us don't like the soft direction that BMW is heading.

And before you put BMW on the high chair and talk down to Jap brands again, read up a bit:

I also don't buy into the it's called the 4 series now so we charge a ridiculous amount more nonsense. The 3 series coupe has existed for ever and it has always carried an appropriate premium over the sedan. The 4 series still is just a coupe version of the 3 series after all.

Using the excuse of the premium they ask for the 6 series over the 5 series to justify the 4 series over 3 series price increase is also ridiculous. Even though they share almost everything mechanically, the 6 series has always been a model on its own, more than a 5 series coupe. More so when the beautiful E24 came out.

I'm really not too fond of many of the decisions recently made by BMW.

Beautiful render BTW
That's ridiculous. $4500 premium for a coupe. It was always about $1500 more but you got something for that money such as sport suspension, fold down seats, etc. now your just paying for the 4 series badge. Really disappointing.

I hate the negativity towards BMW on a BMW forum. Could BMW screw this up? Thats subjective. Just because it doesn't have the V8 found in your car, doesn't mean BMW lost it's way. See that I'm saying? We are bench racing a car that NONE of us have driven or seen. I'm just trying to stay positive on the future and I wish the rest of the board would keep their cool.
