Something about it looks off to me.

The front of the nose looks all squished together yet the rear end kind of looks bulbous. Almost like the front half was designed by one team and the rear designed by another.

You are correct. The real problem is that they are not as wide as I would like. I like the design. I would run them in the summer but they are only 8.5 in the front and 9 in the rear. Makes sense for snow wheels since you should run thinner in the snow but that kind of sucks since I think these are the best design for the car.

Yep, it's unfortunate. Technically one could put a 275mm tire on a 9" wheel, but I don't think I would.

It AMAZES me that all of the money they invested; you STILL see the muffler from the bumper!

What......did you expect it to be completely hidden??? You can see the rear muffler on just about every car.

They are in reference to the F1 tracks. Only thing I can think of is from the yellow Pirelli banner here at the Circuit of the Americas (look at the background, folks!):

Well, the aftermarket seems to be able to do it by using two cans. One reason I went to Eisenmann on my E92.

Black wheels have been over played and the yellow is odd. How about Dakar yellow with silver forged aluminum wheels.

YES! Yes it matters! I really don't believe that nobody cares what others think (save a few people who do strange things in public, like the girl who takes walks in our parking garage during her break while singing to herself with headphones on and prancing around). AY aside, since I was half joking, I'm not enough of an asshole tough guy to deter people from razzing me endlessly if I were to do something like wear pink shoes. So yes, it matters what others think, because I DON'T want to be harassed endlessly about such things.

Still, Pirelli logo ≠ Austin. There is yellow in the COTA logo, but doesn't correlate with what's on the car.

As mentioned in a couple posts, the rear looks totally slammed, while the front looks stock.
I hope that this is not due to passengers in the rear, but since it's a test mule, they might be trying out different springs.?.?. If passengers cause the rear to sag this much, what's it gonna feel like (and possibility of rubbing ?) with 2 passengers and a trunk full of gear?
Unless they also have this trunk weighted down for testing then: never mind.....

that's the ugliest color on any car....sorry! if they wanna come out with crazy colors, they should consider something like Lambo Verde Ithaca. This yellowish gold is getting so old.

Starting to really like the color actually, but on the M4, not so much on the M3.

You can still see the Eisenmann's though. Everybody in SoCal was running it. That exhaust is no more hidden than the OEM unit.
