Both are stunning, though I think the M4 will age better.

Is it only me or is everybody loving the MB loving an updated E90 design? MB took the E90 styling and updated it with a current BMW sideline and MB front and back.

Side skirt design, handle position, (fake) air outlet is typical BMW in my opinion. Even the wheels are close. Don't believe me? Cover the MBs back, imagine the Hofmeister kink and tell me you don't see an updated E90.
As an E92 owner, I agree. The new C Coupe is closer to the E92 coupe than the F32 is. Which is why I'll be the first to put a deposit for one (non-AMG model unfortunately). I really prefer the smooth lines of the Benz over the squared look of the F32.

IMO cars with smooth lines age a lot better. Examples: 1998 RX7, Supra, XKR, porsche... as opposed to something like the R35 GTR which was great at first but is becoming an eye-sore.

Yep, people at work think that my E92 is brand new, even though it's almost 10 years old. A combination of careful washing (avoiding swirls or scratches), detailing/polishing/waxing, and an inherent design with smooth lines can allow the car to look brand new, even after 10 years. I'm hoping to achieve the same results with the W205 Coupe.

If you put an immaculate condition E92 LCI M3 side by side with an F82, I doubt any non-BMW-enthusiast can tell which one is the newer one.

The exterior of the E92 LCI still looks pretty modern (even though here are some guys who say that it looks dated, but I definitely can't agree). The only part which isn't that modern anymore are the front lights IMO.

I just cancelled an order for the C63 AMG because the word between dealers is that the C63S was gonna be it. I didn't want to pay $80K. So, I ordered a M4 w/an Euro-delivery and saved $5K. Both cars are great, but the increased price point and not being able to do the delivery w/MB killed it for me.

? Pretty sure MB announced both C63 and C63S will be coming, just like the sedan. Unless you're outside North America and Europe, then I don't know.

I thought that was the case, but I ordered the C63 in July. Yesterday my dealer tells me that the rumor between other dealerships is that only the 63S was going to be built. Idk what's going on so I went w/o'l faithful and ordered the M4.

A euro-delivery isn't even available for the C63 (S) because it's being built in Alabama (I'm in Dallas, TX).

Was just told that MB is making the regular C63. You have to order the "S", get a slot, and then "dumb down" the order. Oh well, a day late and my M4 awaits!

I love both!

the C sedan does nothing for me... like nothing at all

This coupe though, its stunning!

Looking at a dead front shot I prefer the M. Side and rear go to the C. Interior Id go M all the way.

Mix in that the M comes with a manual transmission is the winner for me.

I gotta say though, this coupe is unreal. If I was looking at an F82 Id have a hard time here. The C definitely has the bragging rights when it comes to hp numbers, but the 0-60 times are dead even.

Id say you cant go wrong either way. the BMW looks more traditional while the Mercedes looks more raw and special.

Now do a comparison with the sedans.... Benz doesn't stand a chance!

Theres my $0.02

I think the C63 S coupe will be faster in the quarter mile than the M4 (isn't the C63 S sedan (11.6@120) as fast as the M3 stock vs stock?)

I also read that the coupe is faster than the sedan and runs a lower final gear can be specced up from factory with a sports exhaust and wider 285 rears and 255 fronts. Which should all translate into even faster times. My opinion is that the coupe will really dominate the segment. Put it this way: if the M4 really moved me visually I would have test driven it and probably bought it. However I did not find the new 3-series design to be a major step up over the previous one and I really disliked the fact BMW removed the glorious motorsport-inspired V8. But that is history now....

What Benz is brining to the table is mightly impressive. I have been examining the Maserati range lately and am patiently waiting for their new GT to be released (don't really fancy anything in their current lot...current GT design is getting tired). I had a look at the Jag F-Type coupe but it didn't grab me in the flesh as it did in the pictures which was unusual. In the meantime I am really liking every single angle of the all new C63 coupe; it reminds me a of a mini S63 AMG coupe....really stunning design!

The rear of the Benz ruins the whole car for me. It has sort of a Panamera type flow to it with no real distiction between the rear window and trunk, seen mostly in the 1/4 and 3/4 shots. It makes it look like it's sitting on it's arse imo.
+ the rear lights has that sad look over them, just like the Audi A7.

M4 all the way for me.

This is no true.. we did place an order for one already, and the dealer did gave us the option for regular C63 and the S... but we ended up going for the S

The M4 still looks much much better styling wise IMO. The C63 interior looks more luxurious but I still appreciate the classic look of the BMW interior more

Both are stunning cars, but nothing can beat the muscular look of the M4 and if you put M-Performance parts on it, well, then it goes from muscular to godly looking!

Saw one in my area driving around....white color. Didn't care for it.. I even slowed down to let him pass so I could catch up slowly and get a good look at the car. Maybe the "black series" version will be better?

The new C63 coupe doesn't exist yet... how did you see one? Did you mean the sedan?

Pano roof, cooled seats, HUD, TT V8... This wins me over.
I don't care if one is .2 or .8 seconds faster than the other. Especially as a daily driver.

I'd prefer the Benz just because of the amenities it comes with that the M4 doesn't offer.

I wish the benz had: Seat belt butler, gull wing doors, AWD, electronically retracting rear spoiler (I like the drama they add).

If it's about "features and amenities" of the car, then I suspect the MB will be better. The M has a slightly different focus for a slightly different buyer IMO. All of those things are why the car weighs more and, for street use only, that weight probably doesn't matter much.

Of course you don't, because you want a rider's car, not a driver's car. And that's what Benny sells. Nothing wrong with that.

You are right. I realize most guys my age would say i want a drivers car. But truly, I spend most of my time within the speed limits.
