Out W The Old (LEMON literally) In W The New (Sakhir)

After 3 months of my Ay being in service for limp mode drive train malfunction
issues, I've finally received my So/So M4. I was a little nervous it would be
too loud and in your face but after seeing it in the dealer lot I was so glad I
got it. I loved the Ay and would've been happy if they could've fixed it but it
seemed to have been above their heads in getting it resolved. They were told to
cut their losses and ordered me a new car. I was shocked how quick it came.
Finished production on July 15th and was at the dealer lot on August 8th.

Now begins the process of modding all over again but will most
likely go a more track and performance orientated direction as that's what the
last car was purchased for and ended up making it more of a visual project. I
was able to get ccbs and adaptive suspension in the deal for all the aggrivation
and my payments stayed exactly the same. Just signed a new agreement and left w
the car. I never thought they were gonna stand by their words but they did and
it didn't cost me a dime. I was in a loaner for the entire repair time. Just
when I lost hope in the m brand it's redeemed itself. Can't wait for break in to
be over.

Couple of pics. Ten mins out the dealer diffuser black grills and
e brake installed.

UPDATE

Put the rest of the mods on and man what a new beast it is again. New pics on page 3. Dps really woke up the car along w the Jb4 and the HAS kit didn't compromise any of the stock handling characteristics. Just improved upon them. Highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for a drop w or w/o EDC. Gonna get some better shots soon as I have some time.

That is not a fun situation, but it looks like BMW took care of it properly and in the end you got a sweet F82 out of it. Kudos on the Sakhir/Sakhir combo

That must've been depressing driving the loaner this whole time wondering if things we're gonna get taken care of but in the end you end up getting a beauty at no cost to you congrats!

Thanks so much everybody for all the well wishes. I almost forgot what a machine this thing is. The Mpe sounds amazing and I'm not even redlining it. Have er down pipes and jb4 patiently waiting for the day it gets unleashed. Thinking about maybe doing the bms intake after hearing it on a friends car and letting the car breathe a little better. Don't know for sure just yet.

Love the ccbs so far. Stop on a dime. Gotta bed them in as soon as I can hammer on it. But so far so good. Been pretty hot here in Ny last couple weeks and they don't squeal a hell of a lot.

Congrats! I used to drive a extra 20 miles each way just to take my car to Oyster bay. They are relatively small but I guess that's why they could be more personal with the customers. Enjoy your new ride!
