Yes they are a little more personal. But it's a double edge sword being so small. I think that's one of the reasons why it took so long in resolving my issue w the yellow car. A larger dealer in surrounding areas would've had it fixed quickly. But they did the right thing in the end.

I know. Haha my friend said the same thing to me the next day. It didn't dawn on me until then being in the new car zone again had my head up my ass.

The yellow grew on me. Didn't think I was gonna miss it but I do. Lol. Love the sakhir too. Yes they are vmr 20in 9 frt 10.5 rear. Originally had them in gloss black on my f10 but didn't like the black on the yellow when I tried them on it. Got lost in the wheel wells.

Yes they are. Dealer did a great job brokering the upgrades for me. I love em. Adaptive is such a nice ride after having passive suspension.

Thanks. I love it all over again.
Lol I meant as far the Orange/orange combo. The yellow had black guts so it went together well. To me the So/So is a lot more "hey look at me" total package.

Thanks guys. Gonna finish up another round of mods and get some more pics up. Maybe a professional one.

Car really is awesome. I personally think it's one of the best 3 series they've made thus far. E46 was a great car looks wise but I love the way the e90 drives.

Thanks. Yea I think the stock wheels are awesome too. But I got a good deal on the 20in PSS and threw these on for bimmer fest real quick. Will likely find another set after winter time when I decide which suspension setup I will go with and base the wheels off of that.

Great success story. Very pleased that BMW and the dealer came through, should give them a shout out for good business.

The SO looks much better than AY, definitely a win.

Thanks!
It was BMW of Oyster Bay in Nassau co. Someone in an earlier post said which dealer it was. They've been great through the whole ordeal.

Care to comment on the differences from your old one without adaptive suspension, to your new one with?

Other than ride quality, more on the performance level / body chassis control?

I've taken the same hard right and left handed turns in this car opposed to the old passive one and the level of body roll feels a lot less and the flat cornering planted feeling, to me at least, feels so much apparent. I love the comfort setting on most of my daily commute because the roads are absolute shit from the last two winters we've had here in Ny. They still have not not properly repaved them yet. I said to my girl a few miles from the dealer how much more I loved the feeling of the suspension. The sport feeling is just right on smooth roads running through the twisties.

Old car was lowered on H&R sport springs and while I loved the look of the drop it definitely made it more of a harsh ride on above said roads. Although turn in had gotten a lot more crisp and sharper. I don't think I'll be going H&R route w this car. Most likely will Dinan sleeve kit for now and see how that rides. Once I get a feeling of it and start getting track time in on the car, if it's not the right feeling will probably go full coil overs.

That's about what I figured, since the adaptive suspension is making a lot of millisecond changes, I would expect the body control to be better and recover from being upset much quicker.

So glad I ordered mine with it.

got it. I loved the Ay and would've been happy if they could've fixed it but it
seemed to have been above their heads in getting it resolved. They were told to
cut their losses and ordered me a new car. I was shocked how quick it came.
Finished production on July 15th and was at the dealer lot on August 8th.

Now begins the process of modding all over again but will most
likely go a more track and performance orientated direction as that's what the
last car was purchased for and ended up making it more of a visual project. I
was able to get ccbs and adaptive suspension in the deal for all the aggrivation
and my payments stayed exactly the same. Just signed a new agreement and left w
the car. I never thought they were gonna stand by their words but they did and
it didn't cost me a dime. I was in a loaner for the entire repair time. Just
when I lost hope in the m brand it's redeemed itself. Can't wait for break in to
be over.

Couple of pics. Ten mins out the dealer diffuser black grills and
e brake installed.
What rims did you get put on with the PSS tires? Are those HREs?

The tires were stock right?

I didn't know 20" would fit on PSS tires. Hmm... Thanks! I'm going to write it down lol, like the way it looks :P
