blank idrive screen
festive greetings everyone, i have had a blank i drive screen the past two mornings. it has been cold here in manchester and the car has been frosty. restarting the car has no affect but everything else including the HUD works.
when i have started the car back up in the afternoon its all back to normal and fine again. Anyone else had this?

Well, I had my first blank screen. Wasn't that cold, my have been just above zero. All back to normal when I returned to the car tonight.
And no where near an airport.

I has another one yesterday, today was fine. My parking sensors don't beep when it's blank.
So, don't know if it was placebo, but the car sounded a lot purer, and nicer with the iDrive blank. I wonder if it means Active Sound was off as well?
