I bought some vinyl striping off eBay for mine and it looks nice. You have to be pretty meticulous when installing or it will look like shit though.

I ordered mine from Bimmian.com: https://bimmian.com/Accessories-for-...-Grill-Stripe/

Make sure that you order the kit for the dual-slat grills ($33). You will get two sets of each color (six cards). The card for each color has five stripes of varying widths; you want to use the thickest stripe. Peel off each stripe, start at the top, make sure the stripe is perfectly aligned. Once you're satisfied, cut at the bottom using an X-acto knife or other sharp razor knife. Note that for the two slats that have the ///M logo in the middle you have to do this twice. Take your time!

The advantage to this kit is that the stripes are pre-cut, and even in width, much easier than trying to trim to width yourself.

You're paying for the convenience of not having to cut the width yourself. I got the ones off eBay and it was quite a lot of work to make it look perfect. I would have easily paid $33 to not have to do that again.

I'm so glad that you decided to make such a positive contribution to this thread.

(BTW, you spelled "Sakhir" incorrectly: 2017 6MT F80 M3 - Mineral Grey over Shakir - Executive & Lighting Packages, 19" Wheels)

Post in a public forum, expect varying opinions, some not inline with your own. Grow thicker skin if it bothers you.

Personally not a fan at all of it either, there is a guy at work with it on his 235i. He told me once he could "hook me up" with it. I said no thanks, it's a bit too much for me.
