All mods void warranty. Nothing new. My brother tells me FASTA report nails all of them flash or piggy as it shows and uploads max injector flow rates to BMW among many other values which are far exceeded past factory tune values with a JB4 and other piggybacks. You mod they will know but they don't immediately void warranties. With both though if something expensive breaks you can try buying a new DME and code it to the car. That way you start fresh if you're the kind of asshole to go in with something broken for warranty work because of your mods and give them stories about being clueless about it. My brother can't stand guys like that and he sees this all the time.

Proof of this? I've been running JB4 a long ass time and had my car connected to the computer many times. Its not flagged. If my engine blew and they sent my ECU away they would probably find the values and say I had a tune but with the flash they are saying it just automatically uploads it and you're instantly flagged. Big difference.

Strange....Try searching on Youtube for this "BMW M3 bootmod3 vs BMW M4 JB4"
Both cars are non-ZCP and both are DCT and both running same tires (Toyo R888R)

Consistency is where the flash tunes outperform the piggy backs and plus all the GTS features you get with them. Unless the jb car is runnin different fuel it will not have a chance against the bm3 unless the car runnin bm3 is spinning its rears the whole time. Buddy of mine had both and he agrees with bm3 being the better choice of the two.

I'd definitely love to run against one. For some reason the dealership here in Kuwait only started to bring them in recently in 2017 models, hence there aren't many ZCPs on the street.
