New page, new reminder. I don't mind sending PMs, but if you are interested in the DIY HUD update procedure, you can also easily find what you want by using the power of Google to look for info on "Flashing KOMBI" on a F8x (which is what you want to do): the info is out there.

As I've read through the Google search that you've mentioned to do, I'm coming up with a conclusion that there is no Crystal clear instructions... Any chance you can modify or direct me to exactly the post I need to follow in order to up my hud?

Do your instructions cover all the software changes including sound and ac settings or just the HUD?

The instructions cover the HUD update. Changing the AC setting only requires coding instead of an ECU update. The louder exhaust sound likely requires updating a different ECU (DME), but I have not tried this on my car to confirm.
