Also, that song is stuck in my head now.

As a metallic paint owner, I beg to differ. My Yas in the sun looks amazing, the metallic is my favourite part of the paint.
But I will agree some colors do wonders for the lines of the F8x, the Grigios/Telestos, Fire Orange and that yellow in this thread are gorgeous.

We're fortunate with the color palette available, all really good colors.

The red comp pack is sweet, but why no LEDs...if you're gonna splurge why not a little more....I'd even forego the factory M parts and buy them later and save more, and if you saved on the parts then negotiating the LEDs would be a no brainer for me. Still a fine set of machines.

It's not a matter or money or splurging for him. He stated several times he doesn't like the look of them. He had all the same comments on his Dakar build too. The car is beautiful, to each his own.

102K for an F80 is a dumb move. So many others cars you could get.

Glad someone thinks so. I was really disappointed as I thought it looked salmon or pink colored. But- its a minor detail that you really don't pay attention to unless someone points it out.

It was supposed to be red and on the sticker it says red. Needless to say after looking at how great your red came out we at first were really disappointed but our dealer and BMW made up for it!!!

We do both track and summer dd that M's. At first she had a hard time adjusting to the "smaller" M3 but she loves it now!! Compared to the M5 its slightly smaller, almost as luxurious but more fun.

We agree- Trust me we were but in the end all was made right and we can live with it. It was supposed to be red but it still looks great

Must be our dye lots were off- our x1 has red stitching and it looks red. I think ours looks much lighter and almost pinkish

That doesn't make sense because your build has Sakhir Orange stitching as per your post.

There is most definitely a difference between Sakhir Orange and Fire Red Stitching. SO is very washed out and not nearly as vibrant as FR.

Anyways, as long as BMW made up for it and you are happy that is all that matters. I probably would have lost my shit, but that is just me...

Still looks good

I don't think you can get 102K new Porsche 991.2. To get to the next "level", you'd have to go used or pony up 125+K new. What "other" new cars are you talking of?

That makes 2 Lady-driven Rosso Corsa F80's on the forum...
Probably the most beautiful F80 Color ive seen so far. (2nd to San Marino)
Speaks to the individuality of the car by not including lighting pack, Your wife is one incredibly lucky lady/enthusiast.
