I'm about to move to Oregon.
Maybe you should market for the state. Use this thread. People in my area (DC-Metro) would kill for prices like that for a home. (Condo's in good areas are around those prices!!) Patented.... so I will get royalties if you get that marketing job. LOL! |

So imagine we sold our home back in May. Moved into a townhouse where we couldn't fit one car into the garage so the wife and I had to rotate between parking our daily drivers C350 & ML350 in the driveway and street. I decided just to park my M4 at my workplace inside of my warehouse since May. Barely could drive it all summer because it was super inconvenient to drive my daily driver to my workplace to get my M4.
The site of seeing my custom M4 in our custom home is such a great site after 7+ months! With only two vehicles parked inside the garage and one vehicle in the driveway, theres so much room in the garage. Also ... side note ... the driveway was super steep. For all the guys who warned me about the driveway, you guys were all correct! Didn't scrape but was surprised on the angle. I had to come in on an angle and park on the left side. Haven't pulled her out yet so that should be interesting! |

Awesome build! congrats on the new house. I have been following since day one and also am in process of building a house. Have shamelessly taken some of your pointers, experiences, and design along the way. We are closing next month and are quite excited.

Hello guys!
Didn't see that there were some responses to my thread! Yes, I am in Happy Valley. Sort of off 152nd. To all future home builders out there ... it's a great experience. Now that we have been in for over a month ... I really appreciate the experience and memories of the build. Really wish I could I seen all the great advice before the build began. Overall ... I'm happy! What I was really looking forward to was my blank back yard where I could put my own touches to everything. Now on to my koi pond build! Also ... Here are some updated photos of our home recently. They are already building to the right of me. Their garage comes through the side of their home! |
