Week 46 I was told. I checked today and car is in production

I was told week 45 but car is in production and scheduled to be finished Nov 8. So hopefully get car in December and hopefully weather will be good enough to get some miles in.

I got my build week from Genius. Haven't called them since, but do check BMWUSA.com incessantly.

How do you guys check status?

Yep - my car is week 46, all options (inc DCT, ZCP) minus sunroof and in mineral grey.

No news on build yet?

Other than calling and speaking to a BMW Genius directly, use the automated system or BMWUSA website (need to create account and add vehicle by production number or VIN).

You can track the status of your BMW 24/7 by calling 800-831-1117. When prompted say "vehicle production status." Have your production number ready for the latest update.

Called the 800 number above, but dialed 888 instead and was surprised someone answered the phone (was expecting an automated system).

Rep said car started production, with finish date 11.16.16, so still Week 46.

BMWUSA.com still shows Order Documented.

I'm week 45 went into production last week Friday. Estimated completion 11/10. It appears the online fracker is two days behind the actual status

What did you do with the GT4?

Yeah, the online tracker is slow, and apparently sometimes inaccurate or lacks information.

When do you expect to pick up your car?

Sold the GT4 for Msrp after a year of ownership. I'm guessing pickup will be first week of December. This will be my first BMW in a very long time. Pretty excited

call BMW Genius - give them your production # - they will give you the production week. mine was 44 than got pushed back to week 46.

I'm week 47. M3, Tanzanite / Silverstone, DCT, Exec, Comp, Car play. Had LEDs on my last F80 and wasn't very impressed so decided to skip those this time around.

2017 Comp Pack Tanzanite M4 week 45. Started Production 10/26 finishes production 11/10. Hopefully gets on a ship sometime mid month.

Didn't get to drive it much. Have two kids. My days of two seat cars are gone for a while. In 12 months only got 3,000 miles on the car

Has anyone checked their status recently?

BMWUSA is pretty useless as it doesn't seem to update often. The only change I've seen is the vehicle going into production, which was last Saturday. Still doesn't list the options selected.
