Here is little teaser for you ZCP with MPE cold start in a garage.

I highly recommend using your headphones since they make a huge difference over speakers for this crappy iphone video.

Still don't think a vid gives enough of the "experience"

You know, women and children fleeing, people staring and pointing - lol

If you enjoy the loudness of the cold starts, you guys should get some downpipes and midpipes and experience that kind of volume all the time when driving.
It can be fun terrorizing the pedestrians

Had a guy at a gas station walk 50 or so feet out of his way over to my car to say "that's a really mean sounding beema (thick boston accent)" I love the crackling and popping of the zcp exhaust.

The cold start is still too loud and a little lame even with zcp. I'm glad you guys like it, but part of what makes the m3 so damn awesome to me is it's relatively subtle and reserved anger. The cold start is the only thing that utterly goes against the grain for me. . . It's too 18 year old mustang/STI loud for my taste.

I really don't think MPE is necessary on a ZCP. I agree base model needs help, but ZCP stands on its own.

I have an MPE with valves forced open and the cold start in our garage is absolutely menacing. We live in a condo with a separate parking structure and you can hear cold start from 200 yds away at our pool.

Realized this because one day I was starting up while the lady friend was at our pool and got a text "did you just start your car?"

It's the small things in life

When you are modding your car, it's not always what you need or what's necessary. In my case, for instance, it was more like what I liked better rather than what I needed. I agree though, stock ZCP sounds miles better than stock Non-ZCP. But it still doesn't do it for me

Is the ZCP exhaust actually any different from stock, or just the ZCP tune making the 'stock exhaust' on the ZCP sound better?

Agree that MPE on ZCP is insane. Checked out all variations recently at a meet and it was amazing. Akra on ZCP even more so (a little deeper).

Aside from the ZCP tune, I think ZCP muffler is also different from non-ZCP muffler.

Non-ZCP here, stock exhaust. There's a blue Toyota Highlander in the garage I park in at work, and I usually leave in the afternoon before they do. Crawling by in a cold start + sport mode trips the alarm 100% of the time. Stupid grin follows. 😁

I guess also they don't want to sell "CPO" cars to an unsuspecting owner.
