I plan on adding a carbon fiber vinyl car wrap to the roof of my 228i.

Has anyone made this modification? Please share pictures?

I'm aware it's not an M3, thanks for pointing that out. I merely asked if anyone was planning on this modification. Based on your response stating the obvious, I'll put you down as a resounding no! For the record I didn't ask if this modification would transform my 228i into an M3. On the contrary, I'm proud to own a 228i. Regarding the carbon fiber vinyl wrap for the roof, it has to do with aesthetics. I honestly like the look of the combination. Not to mention in today's car scene modifying ones car with vinyl wrapping is not unheard of, it's very popular.
