TPG Tuning F82 M4 just ran 11.1@124 (vid)

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Did some searching, but couldn't find anything faster than the 11.66 from another member. Is there anyone faster that 11.1 @ 124 yet? Or is this the new fastest 1/4 mile M4?

Just got back from the track a few hours ago and got the video uploaded to youtube. Quick back story, we at TPG tuning have strived for years to have the to try and have the fastest most powerful and reliable cars we could build. After many years of building and tuning Mitsubishi, Subaru and Nissans we decided to expand our business model and start building, servicing and tuning BMW's. A month ago we picked up the M4 and immediately started tearing it apart to have our exhaust systems designed. Just two days ago we got the car back with our prototype track version exhaust on it.

On our mustang dyno the car made 430 RWHP and 500 RWTQ. For those wondering about local dynojets consider 8-12% increase for comparisons sake.

The car has about 540 miles on it, and the launch control will not activate till the 1200 mile service according to BMW techs, so the car was just driven straight off the line without it!

As for the exhaust, we will have a thread up soon about it including more videos and pictures and details about the upcoming street exhaust also. so please stay tuned.

On to the video and photos!!
Its filmed in 4K so enjoy!

Thank you for looking!

With launch control the car would go 10's almost guaranteed. We are seeing what we can get out of the car with a minimalist approach first then followed up by bigger better mods!!

Wow, thats a blazing time!

I guess the key here is the Micky drag radials 305/35 hooking up a 1.65 60' !!

305/35's on the stock rims

Can't help but notice the track does slope downhill a bit? Still a very very impressive time.

Thats a mean sounding exhaust note at the light!

Looks like it's a Straight pipe exhaust... Also, did 305's fit fine on stock wheels?

Yea the race exhaust will feature straight 3" pipe to the rear exiting with quad 3.5" tips. It will be interchangeable with our street exhaust just by swapping out the axle back. Some final touches need to be made then we will proceed to production. Making a thread soon with all the information you could ask for lol. Keep an eye out!

Impressive! I had a feeling those big tires would make a big difference. Exhaust sounds great, too!

What air pressure did you use at the track? for launching did you just stomp on the gas? what shift points did you use? also what stage was the JB4 set up for?

First run was 20 psi, other 2 runs were 18psi in the rears.

The car was shifted right around redline! The car was just held with the brakes then simultaneously stomped the gas while releasing the brake.
