AC Schnitzer Springs

SUPREMEPOWER

AC Schnitzer

The AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit meets these requirements through its combination of optimum lowering in conjunction with adapted residual spring travel, with simultaneous balancing of spring rates.

Description:
  • Original AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit for front and rear axle
  • Thoroughly tested and optimised by our suspension team under the supervision of our chassis expert and Touring Car driver, Manfred Wollgarten suitable for both normal road use, driving courses and track use

Lowering:
  • Front: 25-30mm (1-1.1")
  • Rear: 10-15mm (0.4-0.5")

Improved agility:

Lowering the centre of gravity by lowering the vehicle brings a perceptible improvement in driving dynamics and cornering behaviour. Suitable for a spirited driving style.

Increased safety:

Changing the vehicle's centre of gravity gives higher safety reserves on load changes and sudden manoeuvres, and hence raises the limit zone.

The authenticity certificate of the original AC Schnitzer suspension spring kit guarantees a high standard of safety and highest quality. Developed and extensively tested on the North Loop of the Nurburgring, where every test result is used for improvement.

Improved driving pleasure:

The AC Schnitzer spring kit gives enthusiastic drivers an emotional and exciting driving experience

What does this jargon mean?

Anyhow, the drop looks good. Are the springs linear or progressive? They look pretty linear to me! Oh, and how much?

MSRP Priced at $640. PM for bimmerpost pricing!

Springs are progressive

& The description is provided to us by the manufacturer. We only make mild tweaks... Basically they are saying that the springs have optimal performance for street use and "spirited" driving

Updated the thread with pictures after install!!

The drop is about 20mm front and rear. We will measure again once the springs settle in

Thanks for the pics and specs. I know I'm nit picking here but it's probably better to measure from the center of the hub to the fender since different wheel and tire combos can affect the "floor to fender" measurement. After measurements are good too.

This is what I'm wondering as well. The rear looks pretty much stock high. Definitely doesn't "appear" to be a symmetrical drop. But only measurements can confirm/deny what we're seeing since the drop is so subtle. Unfortunately they didn't post any pics of the "after" measurements.

Yeah. I agree. After measurements will be coming when he comes back for an exhaust! We will remeasure at that time

To be EXACT it was 17mm. He's going to come back for an exhaust, so we will remeasure then

Sweet! Thanks for doing this. ACS springs seem like an attractive option for many folks here. Would love to see the measurements for the M3 too.

We have an M3 coming in soon as our next shipment of springs arrive

I'll be taking better measurements for before and after!
