In the U.S., the M3 sedan, M4 coupe and M4 convertible each received a $300 price increase effective January 1.

eh.. everyone knows this happens every year.. they even increase prices when changing the engine, model badge, lci, etc... what they need to do is start including more standard features.

I agree but what items should be standard? There are some things that I just wouldn't want or care for. For example, xenons and leather should be standard. Auto-dimming mirrors and Homelink should be as well. Everything else I'm fine with being options. I don't want parking sensors and don't need comfort access - these are things that when they fail, they're a b-tch to fix and it's not like BMWs are the most reliable cars when it comes to electronics.

In Germany, even the nav system professional is an option.

How can they justify the increase. Deflation and lower oil and AL prices there should be a 300$ decrease!!

So if I read the bulletin correctly, if we ordered and agreed to a deal prior to 12/31 w/ a production number and priority 1 - customer sold, with delivery by 3/31, we should be able to put the $300 towards mods vs. BMW?

Glad I got my M in 2015.....that $300 price increase is steep. No shame. No shame. it's like if I were an Afghan Goat Herder and it now costs more for goat curd to be produced...or...If I were a trap door spider and one of my door hinges broke and Home Depot is charging me 25 cents more than what I paid for that same damn hinge last year...or If I was an anaconda in the amazon rain forest and constricting was going out of fashion so now I have to buy a gun - but I have no fingers. Oh man.
