EVO Italy tested the C63s coupe and separately the Quadrifoglio on race track "Tazio Nuovolari". C63 s coupe was 0,5 sec faster...Not bad for a sedan..Better than both the new M2: 0,4 sec after than the MB.

Quadrifoglio was slower than C63S around the track? Makes the Quadrifoglio Nurburgring lap time laughable.

Steve really liked the C63S Coupe E1.

I expected him to bash the M4 ZCP but sounded like he was just as fond of it...

you could be right, we will see in the future. Even because new rumors floating around are simply incredible if true..(with automatic gear this time)

Just to get a better idea of the car tested by EVO:
0-100 km/h 3"99
0-200 km/h 12"97
0-400mt 12"25 (exit speed 194,2km/h)
0-1000mt 21"86 (e.speed 247,9km/h)
100km/h-0 31,4 mt (this is really fantastic)
180km/h-0 109,4 mt (again superlative)

Interesting. Those 0-200km/h and 0-1km times are within M4 and M4 CP. The C63 is quicker though.

Clarkson loves the Alfa QV and says it's superior to the M3/4 as far as driving pleasure is concerned... He rockons it's quicker than the M3/4 too.

He does, but he also notes @ 2:08

"The overall effect, is to make the C63S feel.. uh.. not like a track car, because it isn't, it still rides beautifully... it just has this focus, on getting down the road super rapidly..."

vs cp m4 review @ 4:40

"the extra stiffness that makes the ride comfort that kind of bit too firm on the road.. it just works a treat on a place like this, on a track like this."

both great cars, pick what's more important to you.

You don't have to tell me. I'd pick the M3/4 all day.

I was just expecting him to shit all over the M3/4, in the C63S E1 review, even after the positive review he gave the M4 ZCP...and was surprised when he didn't.
