Something about that British Racing Green, since the days of the E36 M3 GT I've wanted that color. Maybe my next go around in the ///M park.....

So many limited models of the F8x Chassis', I'm overwhelmed.

British heritage color on and a German/BMW heritage model...I would have preferred to see something like derby dark gray, but okay.

to think those colours, dakar, daytona violent, fern green, were just regular 3 series/M3 brochure colours back in the e36 days

Yeah, back when BMW used to offer good standard colors on the M3s. Now they give us a crap pallette. Austin Yellow is just Phoenix Gold Metallic renamed and Yas Marina just pussy willow Bruin blue. Sakhir Orange is actually a decent standard color but it stops about there.

The E36 came in Techno Violet, Daytona Violet, Boston Green, Dakar Yellow, Hellrot, Imola Red (limited run in 1999), Avus Blue, and my personal favorite, Estoril Blue. Now that is a true spread of colors.

Then the E46 came with Imola Red II, Phoenix Gold, Laguna Seca Blue, Carbon black, Mystic Blue, Interlagos blue, and Oxford Green. Again another real pallette to choose from. But after that, its been getting smaller and smaller with each subsequent generation.

Now with the F8X generation, we get 3 colors and 50 shades of grey...nice job BMW

I usually think the special editions are gimmicky, but these are just beautiful. Daytona Violet is incredible.

Anyone know any ways to get painted LED light covers like in these interior photos?

I've been looking to get these in black chrome to match stock interior carbon fiber trim for my F80. The F82s get them stock with carbon fiber trim but the F80s get just matte black surrounds.

Haha wished it was that cheap, 400k you can only get the new m140i at 250k haha

Me thinks there are other world markets where a more conservative pallete sells better and well, BMW follows the money......

NO NO NO, We don't accept Yaz as a color. My LBB M2 is closer to Bruin Blue.
My Dad has a PhD. outta SC so I've heard it ALL.

If BMW is smart or reading this board, they should make a Heritage Color Pallette and charge a reduced individual fee, kinda like their "semi-individual" selection. Maybe have different tiered level of colors to choose from or BMW colors at one price point and non-BMW individual colors at the full 5k pop. More options is always better!
