///M-TRACK DAYS - Washington | Lots of photos

M-Track Days

The Ridge Motorsports Park, Washington
____________________________________________

I got the chance to check out M-Track Days in Shelton, Washington. It was a fun event although it rained quite a bit through out the day. Obviously you all know that these events are quite a bargain. So I'll leave the commentary out of it and just post up some photos of the events. Let me know if you have any questions.

Welcome Photos
Random photos while we all got situated.

Drag Racing
The M550i was really fast.

Track Time
Drifting, slipping and sliding. Depending upon your view point tracking in the rain is fun as hell or a humbling experience.

Autocross
M2s are little pocket rockets.

Lunch
Buffet of good food. Sorry about my limited taste. They had everything; salad, seafood, meat, sausage, etc.

Nope. Although they encouraged you to use the paddle shifters.

Gotta keep in mind that these events will be a slight disappointment to experienced track rats or manual enthusiasts. There are some folks that brought their own helmets, but most everyone has never been on a track before. You really only go as fast as the slowest person in the group. One couple actually quit the track session since they were feeling queezy.

Great pics! We have a similar event here in Brazil every year at São Paulo - Interlagos!
Love the new M3 LCI head lights!

Nice pics! I attended on Sunday and was fortunate enough to have dry weather. The event was a ton of fun.

Thanks for sharing exo-shell! Glad you had a blast. Great collections of photos. The Miami M Track Day I went to was just as rained out, but still an amazing and memorable time. Especially since they opened up the embankment at Homestead-Miami Speedway during the full-course sessions.

Years ago I had a rainy track day at PIR. It was about my 4th track day. I loved it. I learned more about driving that day than the previous 3 combined.

Is this a annual event? I'm from Spokane Wa and would be interested in this in the coming years.

M-Track Days seem to be an annual thing.

But there are M Schools available all the time. I personally think the M schools are a little better and a more focused. The M School I attended at Thermal was way more focused. The instructor was great. And the cars were in great shape. But at the same time, they cost a lot more.

The M Track Days are a bit hectic and very little instruction and the cars are a bit beat up. Despite that, the M-Track Days are a bargain no matter how you look at it.

I too, was at that track day, my second time on a track (not counting the Las Vegas Exotics guys). It was very well done and the privilege of driving someone else?s very cool cars and driving them pretty hard was both fun and a bargain.

Everyone knows that drifting around the turns isn?t the fastest way but a little sideways now and again sure makes for some serious adrenaline. ?

I don?t remember what color group. I think we drove M3s on the track as our first activity.
