Why would someone try that? The offsets are very different.

Well it would certainly make cleaning the front wheels easier

i think i understand why you would do that. for some track wheels. 4 rears allows for evenly distributed rubber, 275s all around for a square set up (less understeer). i know some e46 m3s that run these. the rear 18s from the m3 fit fine on the front of the E46s. i dont see why ours wouldnt work.

Thanks for understanding. This will allow us to put more aggressive set up for the front as well. For example, the E92 Front wheels(18x8.5+29) is almost the same as our rear according to 1010tires offset calculator.

I will try it this weekend if no one tried yet.

With the rears being wider, and the offset being so different, the outside edge of the wheel is going to extend outward an additional 25mm. The questioning is, I don't think anyone things there is an addition 25 mm of space inside the wheel arch.

They may fit with camber plates and -3 or more camber. However I don't think you will get more than a 255 up front. The fenders are just to narrow.

With stock camber the 255 on the rear wheels are a hair outside the fenders.

Done it.. Tried it.... works just fine... car dropped on H&Rs too... Wheel sticks out only about ... 5mm or so... Having a square setup for track is ideal for track and it is exactly why i did it...also to check the fact that it clears the Brembo 14in 6-Piston kit as well!!!
