How far off are EDC compatible coil-overs?

I'm guessing we should see something by the end of the year? That is about the time it took for PASM compatible suspension to come about for the 911. Bilstein was able to do it and should be able to do the same for the M3.

Everyone has been rather quiet on this front and all we have are systems that isolate the EDC instead of utilizing it. Maybe someone has heard something regarding development, haven't really seen anything.

I'm really interested in this as well. Height adjustable coil-overs with only a couple dampening settings utilizing the EDC

Will be watching this closely. I would have thought something would have been available in the summer, but maybe not.

Thats retarded... I would want to be able to retain all the EDC settings and buttons that come from the factory. I wouldnt want a seperate module

EDC is relatively new to BMW, only 2-3 years I believe. And EDC is being offered on all of the M models like the X6M, X5M, M5, M6, M3 so the potential market is growing. I am sure that EDC will find its way to the regular 1,3,5,6,7 series.

The aftermarket will come out with something. Just gotta be patient.

I guess it makes sense. Who would spend $1200 on this option (or $3000 as a package) to replace everything.

I guess we'll see stuff around 2011 maybe.

Does the module allow you to adjust the damping using the EDC button? I thought those module just prevented error messages from disconnecting the OEM shock.

Actually your right!! it only cheats the OEM signal. But I am wonder is if the modules only cheat the signal , doesn't mean I can use a Bilstien coilovers with KW modules???

just a thought. I will keep update with pictures only I see them.
