Lost in HK, looking for shops catering BMWs

Hey guys and gals, it good to see such a big forum. just picked up a used e90 in hk. looking for one, for a while, but this one just caught my eye, had pretty much the mods i wanted and in pretty good shape... sad thing is that couldn't do the mods myself…

But i'll get to the point. I’m pretty new to the auto scene in hk.. and there is so many car shops in hk, can anyone refer me to a good, mechanic for service and tune, body shop, etc… oh yes and need a tint shop…. Looking to get some work done.. doesn't need to be the cheapest, just looking for craftsmanship and reputable shops prefer on the Kowloon side ... thanks guys.. much appreciated..

Welcome to the board.
I don't really have a good tint shop in my mind, but I know a bad one that you should avoid. You can PM me about it if you want.

A good mechanic is hard to find in Hong Kong. Luckily I found one. My mechanic is very professional, knowledgeable. I just had everthing (Pulley, powerchip, brembo brake, body kit, painting, performance steering wheel, exhaust...etc) installed on my E93 M3. It doesn't matter as much where they are located as how professional and honest they are.

Here is everything:

That's a great looking ride. Great choice of colors for the brembos--I did mine the same way

What's your experience with the BBK so far? Does yours squeak when cold? Mine squeaks notably in the first 10-15 seconds of braking--gets pretty embarassing when you're rolling along in a public carpark...

This is epic... those BBS rims are a perfect combo with your ride--very tastefully done! IMO most BBS rims need a rather deep offset to show off their true colors--yours seem to just come to life under those flared wheel arches...

Congrats on a very well designed ride
