Upgrading to bigger Injectors

I was wondering if anyone with a 3.0 engine has tried to upgrade their fuel injectors to make the engine put out the same as a z4 si. I think you would also have to get your computer reprogramed. Both engines are identical. If anyone has any info that would be great.

I’ve bin trying to find out my self is it possible to convert a 06+ 3.0i to si specs. I assume different sensors, injectors and ECU are needed, I’m not sure if there are any mechanical differences in the heads (i.e. Honda’s Vtec engines). If anyone out there knows more I’d love to get that extra 40hp.

Found the answer to my question over on the E90 forum 328 to 330 is the same as 3.0i to 3.0si.
