E9X Sirius Tuner For Sale

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
Just removed this from my 2008 E90 M3. The reason for selling is this unit was manufactured prior to 3/08 and is not compatible with the Best of XM package. I'm a huge Opie and Anthony fan, so decided to upgrade to a newer unit that is compatible with the best of XM. This unit is fully functioning but does not come with a free year.

$300 OBO plus shipping.

PM if interested.

Edited for better pic:

It goes right underneath the trunk mat. For me, it was a super easy install because my car already had Sirius. Disconnect the battery, undo a few bolts and wires, reconnect the wires and bolts and plug battery back in. If your car is prewired, I don't think install is too much more difficult. Although you do need another bracket (MSRP $17.34) and your idrive reflashed/programmed. Here's a guide:

Yes...was just providing full disclosure.

The unit works perfectly and is completely compatible with a regular sirius plan. It's just not compatible with the best of xm like all BMW sirius units produced before 3/08. That's why I replaced mine.
