Sport suspension on rough roads

hey owners,

does the sport suspension feel overly harsh on rough roads/potholes? i have read that it is much better than the previous ride (E46), but would love to have actual experiences in the E90... thanks.

No worries

I did not have a very long test-drive, but from what i could tell if you're concerned about the sports suspension on rough roads, don't be. The e90 has a new suspension system that feels very good on tough roads. It's almost too good, but it is very comfortable, still feels the road, but not in a bad way at all. You'll be fine with the sports package. Put your mind at ease. And...

drive fast.

I just put 50 miles on my 330i with Sport Pkg. today (first day) and it feels smoother than the e46 with standard suspension.

I live in Chicago. We have 3rd world roads compaable to Jamaica. Potholes are jarring for any car with any suspension. Sport suspension handles them well though. I have sport on my e60. I highly recommend sport suspension.

We have loads of cobbles (brick laid roads) and open roads badly broken up by the roots of trees. The E90 on sports suspension laughed at them!

Ride is excellent on sports suspension.

I agree 100% with CaptJack. I drove this car for 350 miles. His assessment is totally correct. I used to have a 330Ci with sports.
