Went to the New England auto show today. BMW had no presence (literally). While they are busy coming out with a GT model for every car, and sticking the M badge on items that don't deserve it, Merc and AUDI were flocked by fans showing off they new AMG SLS (aka gullwing) and R8 respectively.

They already lost me as a customer of their current model lineup. I am keeping my hopes up high for the F30.

I'd be willing to make a large wager the new M3 won't look much like this rendering. Come on, using a really similar front bumper cover - not going to happen. Overall this car rendered car looks way too much like the existing M3. The new one will have some of these design cues but it won't look anywhere as close to the current car.

Wow. I'm digging the M3. Looks awesome.

But... BMW should leave the turbos to the 135/335/535 etc. They need to stick with the V8 in the M3. It's not going to roar like it used to

Same with the M5 and M6..

you ought to look at the Essen show that one member shared some photos on BIMMERPOST; only 2 displays-which I can recall- and they are aftermarket stuff. no factory representation

It says 3.0 straight six, I wonder if they will make a new engine or use a stronger version of the N54/N55. One of the things I like most about the 335 is it gets good mpg especially on the freeway so a turbo6 would be out of the norm but sweet and with easy tuning potential.

Why do they all have to look alike, a bigger 3 series or a smaller 6 series its getting hard to tell the difference. Hell just take the badges off and most people will have a hard time figuring out if you spent 45k or 90k.

IMHO, The new F32 M3 is going to look sick! I like the render pic. Front lights are going to look very similar to the new 5er or the new 6er. Sucks no more V8, guess I just have to wait and see what the Inline 6 Turbo has in store... Till then is when i will consider buying one....
