Correct.. no need for them on the smaller turbo engine. Same goes for the powerdome which only exists on the E9x out of necessity. Just as the F10 M5 looks less different from the standard 5 as the previous m5 did, this M3 will look less different as well. Don't expect anything extreme.

As much as I don't really like the exposed sides of the grills, I just came to a realization. They are destined to appear on a good 40-60% of all new designs (from all makes) post-F30.
