Nice! I had assumed that the 6MT Vert would have a worse 0-60 than 4.1 seconds but it seems like that's what they got it to deliver. There's no denying you lose a bit of performance with the vert but it's such a fun/great car that its worth it. Probably the bigger price to be paid (which no reviews talk about) is that most tracks won't let you run a vert. It's a shame as I'm pretty sure that with the hard top up the roll-over protection would be comparable to a carbon fiber coupe (maybe even better considering there are roll-over head protectors in the vert). But it doesn't matter -the tracks won't let you on.

Very strong indeed. Feeling even better about my choice. I don't plan to track mine, but it's good to know that this much power is available on demand. Are there any true 4-seater convertibles that are faster? I won't count the 911's, can't get a real adult back there. M6 maybe?

Only the M6 compares re: true 4 seater verts. Not been in the back of an M6 but my understanding is that the M4 has more backspace than the M6 (surprising given that the M6 is bigger overall).

By far, the F83 is in the Top 3 of the best looking convertibles out there (of course, i am biased). Others in the top 3:

1) Aston Martin DB9 / Virage
2) BMW M4 Convertible
3) Porsche 997 Turbo (S) Convertible

It does!! By quite a margin - as I came out of an F10 M5, i can give you that the M4 feels a lot nimbler given its smaller footprint - i assume the M6 is similar to the M5.... super fast, great sound - but more GT than Sports

I own an M4 Convertible and it certainly has a back seat, but for those of us who are tall (i'm 6'2), i pity the person sitting behind me. I have a recaro kid car seat behind my passenger seat. When my son (3 years old) is in it, I pity the passenger in the front seat.

Granted the other convertibles being discussed as no better...
