So few 335's in MA?
Hey all,
I drive about 60+ Mi a day (Rt 90, 95/128, and normal roads). And have only seen 3 335's on the road in 3 months. I see tons of 325, 328, and 330's. I always look at the exaust to tell... I thought I would see more... Just an observation...

I work in Waltaham (a while back I worked in Worcester).
Obviously I never saw you (or the other one) . The few I saw were on Rt. 95 and the Pike. Nice choice in Color and options... . I forwent the Nav. as I get GPS's at wholesale, and took what they had on the lot. I guess it's good that there are only a few, nice to be special...

Not a practical car for New England winters. I might trade my 328XI coupe for a 335XI coupe at the end of summer, but no dipstick, plastic jack points and crappy stereo...

I plan on a winter car next year. It only snows 10-15 or so days a year, so I get 350-355 days to drive it with no worries... What's wrong with the (Logic 7) Stereo? I like it...?

I don't see many either, and I commute into Boston every day. I like the fact that I'm still rare . As for the winter, I got myself some snows and was quite pleased with how well the car handled....

I have only seen one other 335i sedan, and that is another sports package in my parking garage. Of course, I live downtaon Boston (North End). I ahve seen 2 335i coupes on Newbury.
Now with the 335xi, we will be seeing more of the 335's. IMHO, if you get the 335xi, you still need winter tires. Realistically, good Blizzaks on a 335i and a 335xi will be pretty similar. The only time the xi will be significantly better, I am not goig to drive, anyway. Also, I bike to work (I live 1 mile from work) and my wife drives the 335i two miles to work - garage to garage . |
