Guys, go look at the spy pics. Even with all the camo and cladding, they honestly look a lot more exciting than this rather feminine looking artists rendering.

Just say no to the headline grabbing BS from the trade rags.

This thread reminds me of being on the E46 board when the E90 came out. Nooobody liked it. The E46 was the "best"...nothing could replace it. Obviously some may still feel that way but most of us have safely moved into the E9x generation and never looked back. Let's face it, the same will occur again (for the majority). Change is difficult but over time we soften and are more receptive. That being said the picture does look weak and nothing will beat the e9x!!!! I'll never sell mine!!!

to me, the thing that bothers me is the way the hood and hood line look..makes the hood seem disproportionately long imo...perfect car for me would be my e92 with the new engine from the f80...

or the reaction to the E36 from the E30 fans
or the E46 to the E36 etc etc etc
i remember how pissed off E30 M3 owners were when BMW made a heavy 6 cyl engine for the E36
or how pissed off bmw fans were when the M3 switched to a heavy V8!

Looks OK, nothing special. Want BMW to come out with a US legal GTS or CSl that weighs 3200 or less, 450+ bhp. Do want the option of air and stereo. Will spend $ 10th or
so for that option, not double the cost as in Europe and the UK.

jesus these renders are weak. The real life spy photos with all that spiral wrap look 10x better than this garbage.

+ 10.

It won't look like that. The spypics and videos already show a more aggressive look. Heck, the new 335i M-Sport looks better than that!

As an example,

This is the new F30 with M performance parts. This already looks nice and aggressive...

Think the new M3 is going look even less aggressive than an 335i M-Sport all dressed up? No way. That render is crap.

That's more like it!

I'm almost sure the new M3/M4 will have an 1M style bumper.

They didn't even bother to carry over the flared fenders from the real car. So taking an F30, superimposing an M5 front bumper, M5 wheels, M5 side gills, and painting the roof with a CF weave is all that qualifies as coming up with an artist rendition these days? How lazy can you be?

Really? It doesn't remind me of any prior thread about any car that "came out" because no car in this thread has actually come out yet.

However, I will admit that sometimes a pineapple reminds me of a road grader.

I really doubt the M3 gets the 1M styled bumper.

I feel the same way too. It's too bad that I was rear ended a few years ago and can't drive stick and I refuse to buy a SMG tranny car or I'd consider getting a e46 m3 as a nice play car.

i vote nay against the 1M style bumper, i think it'll be more inline with the new F10 gaping maws; more aggressive and subtler than the goofball look.
