That is unless the F31 M Performance model is something very special (if it's ever announced). Any news on it yet?
RS4 Avant never came to U.S. they only sell RS5 coupe

SUV's and minivans.

Regarding the M3 wagon, the orange one is pure sex.

Hopefully my next car will be an e91 335i ;D.. Poor USA..

I would like to say it is coming. But for now it remains an option on the table for the time being but no closer to production reality.

It can depend on how the other models are perceived and also with the competition. Audi's RS4 and RS6 are Avant only so customers don't really get a choice unlike the current BMW M3 and of course the BMW M4 which will take it to four variants if you include the X4M.

Impressive "what could be?" Renders. Maybe someone will have a closer look?

I really would like to know how BMW does their market research and why they are so slow to understand what the customers want. If the M3 F8X had optional xDrive, the M3 F81 would sell like hot cakes, and take a huge part of the RS4 Avant and C AMG T market share.

I agree with Frosty and Dmacc. Looks great in techno violet! Sure beats the hideous BMW GT versions driving around (or sitting on lots collecting dust) these days.

Actually the M340d/I or whatever it gets named might get xdrive like the 5 series... That could be a reasonable compromise if the power hikes that are rumoured come true (400hp+ for the triturbo diesel)

Or sod it, put the dogs in the minivan and buy an M3

Bumper looks weak IMO, and I definitely would never be interested in an M touring. Couldn't care less whether it's made or not.

Exactly. The M3 wagon would sell better IMO. An M3 tourer is something I've been dreaming about for a looong time!

I would not count on the tri-turbo diesel in anything below the 5 series. I would not even necessarily count on a diesel M Performance vehicle below the 5 series.
